The institute of Business
Administration, Karachi offers the
Ph.D scholarship
Program in the areas of Marketing,
Entrepreneurship, Management,
Finance, accounting and Information Technology in Higher Education
Commission (HEC) recognized world top ranked universities / institutions.
Interested candidates must have
passed the GMAT / GRE international or NTS test by HEC.
Those who are successful in obtaining admission to the top 50 business
schools or computer sciences departments will be appointed on regular
faculty positions on competitive market-based compensation packages.
The selected candidates enter into a bond with the IBA. The IBA
will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the foreign
universities / institutions where the selected candidates will be placed
and visa will be issued only on the recommendations of the IBA.
The selected candidates will
be offered the following allowances for the duration of the Ph.D program
or Master’s / M.Phil leading to Ph.D Program up to a maximum of four
years.

Stipend including living
expenses

Admission / Bench fee at
actual against invoice from the university/ institute

Book allowance, printing
material and thesis charges will be reimbursed on production of
receipts.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates fulfilling the
following criteria are eligible to apply:

Pakistani national
-
Maximum age: 40 years for
full-time faculty members of public sector universities / colleges or
employees or public sector R&D organizations and 35 years for fresh
graduates
-
Completion of minimum 16
years of education in the relevant field
-
Maximum two second divisions
throughout academic career but not below 50 % marks
-
Less that 50% or ‘D’ grade
at any stage in academic career will not be acceptable

its youth development programme, shell Pakistan offers assistance to

connection, shell has joined hands with the Higher Education Commission
(HEC) to invite applications for the year 2008 shell scholarship
programme.
Eligibility
Applicants should fulfill
the below mentioned criteria at the time of application.

Must possess marks above 70%
throughout their entire academic careers

Applicants monthly family
income must be less than Rs. 40000/-

Applicants must not be
current or former employees of shell Pakistan, or only of the Royal
Dutch / Shell Group Of Companies

SANDWICH Ph.D PROGRAMME
The centre is introducing a
new programme of Ph.D research in which scholars will undertakes
research jointly in the laboratories at CEMB and in collaborating
laboratories in Europe and the USA. The proposed areas of research
include:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Having Ist class or CGPA-2.5
in Master Degree / Sixteen-year education or equivalent qualification in
Agriculture, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Botany B-Pharmacy,
Bioinformatics, Chemistry, DVM, Environmental Sciences, MBBS, Medical
Technology, Microbiology, Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Molecular
Biology and Zoology.
No 3rd class in the academic
career and having not more than two 2nd divisions and not les than 50%
marks in academic career
Should not be above 30 years
age have qualified GRE (General) / NTS Test.

Master degree / B.Sc Honours (4 years), from a recognized university or
