want to choose flying as a career, they must ready for hard working for
getting a commercial pilot license in Pakistan. Flying
clubs and pilot training schools are located in Karachi, Lahore
and Islamabad. There are number of flying clubs
in Pakistan and
flight training school offer training for commercial and private pilot license
in Pakistan. Air line pilot training is a special category of courses. It
includes spl, ppl, cpl etc. one can get private pilot license or
students pilot license or a commercial pilot license form a recognized
flight training school or flying club
Commercial Pilot License
(C.P.L) in Pakistan
Commercial Pilot License is
the first step. This license is issued by Civil Aviation Authority
(C.A.A) to those candidates who qualify required physical test,
practical exam of pilot and theoretical examinations. They also have to
complete 200 hours of flying time to obtain C.P.L.
Eligibility
Qualification: Intermediate
Science (F.Sc), with at least second division
Age: 18 to 30
years

After getting an aero club
membership one has to compete the following training courses:
S.P.L (Students Pilot
License) in Pakistan: this exam is conducted after getting 3 hours of flying
experience.
P.P.L (Private Pilot
License) in Pakistan: a candidate can participate in the P.P.L examination after
getting 40 hours of flying experience.
C.P.L (Commercial Pilot
License) in Pakistan: an experience of total 200 hours flying enables a person to
take the test of C.P.L.

It takes normally one and
half years to two years to complete a flying experience of 200 hours.
Following nature of experience must include in this 200 hours flying
periods.

Along with practical
training a candidate must have get theoretical training in the following
subjects:
Flight flying, meteorology,
navigation, aviation laws, radio aids, air craft engine, air craft
frame. Civil Aviation Authority conducts theoretical examination four
times a year. Every subject has a separate test which comprises
multiple choices questions.

Air Line offers the most job opportunities for the licensed pilots.
Secondly there are private airlines which offer openings as well. More
job opportunities may be created if more private airlines licensed are
issued.
Nature of Work
Pilot has to report one hour
prior to the flight so that he can receive flight plan. Important
points that are includes in the flight plan are rout of flight, weight
of the plan before and after the flight, height of the plan on different
level during flight, flight plan, weather condition, temperature, air
pressure, speed, distance of the destination., needs of fuel and the
political situation of the route of the flight.
